Sundubu Jjigae (Korean Spicy Soft Tofu Stew)

  • 1 pack J-Basket Tofu (soft or silken)
  • 1 cup water or broth
  • 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (e.g., mushrooms, zucchini, onions)
  • 1 egg (optional)
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)
  • Seasoning

  • 1 pouch O'Food Spicy Sundubu Jjigae Stew Sauce

  1. Prepare the Vegetables: Chop the mixed vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat the Sauce: In a pot, pour the O'Food Spicy Sundubu Jjigae Stew Sauce and add 1 cup of water or broth. Bring it to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. Add Vegetables: Add the chopped vegetables to the pot and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they start to soften.
  4. Add Tofu: Gently add the J-Basket Tofu, breaking it into large chunks. Let it simmer for another 3-5 minutes to heat through.

Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions if desired. Serve hot with a side of steamed rice.

Optional Egg: Crack an egg into the stew and let it cook until the egg white is set but the yolk is still runny.
